Once upon a time…
Once upon a time, a girl was born in Bogotá to a French father and a Colombian mother, blending the vibrant optimism of Colombia with the pragmatic approach of France. I grew up in the Parisian suburbs, where my world was a colorful mix of cultures, coffee, and an unstoppable drive. Fast forward to me as a fresh graduate, armed with little more than a high school diploma and a passion for caffeine that matched my ambition.
That was me, starting my career at ground zero as a receptionist—just like the heroines in fairy tales who somehow change their fate. Except in my version, there was no prince, no magic, and no royal shortcuts—just me, a lovely husband who wasn’t a boss, and a whole lot of hustle.
Climbing the Ladder, My Way
So, I decided to climb the ladder in my own style, armed with a lot of self-taught knowledge and even more caffee, squeezed between the crazy rush of work and subway rides and keeping up with my two sons’ homework—who, let me tell you, I have just as much ambition for.
After studying remotely and earning a certification from The Chartered Governance Institute in London, I juggled roles in accounting, executive assistance, project management, and even business analysis, until I became a Company Secretary. Picture me as a kind of office Swiss army knife, navigating the bureaucratic waters with a nearly permanent smile—thanks to strategies for growth and a few stashes of chocolate.
A Career Full of Twists
But that wasn’t enough. Whenever work frustrated me (and believe me, after 27 years of career ups and downs, I had my share of frustration!), I would send out my resume and prep for interviews like others prep muffins on Sunday night. After slipping on every possible banana peel, this little hobby turned me into a pro at interviews. It also helped me climb the ranks and boost my salary. It’s the same little habit that led me to leave a perfectly good job in Paris and drag my entire family to Luxembourg in 2016. Who knew stress could be so productive?
And then, I discovered that over time, I’d picked up some pretty neat tricks for defusing tricky situations. You know, the ones that make you want to slam your resignation letter down on the boss’s desk in giant letters! Not only did I manage to reignite my enthusiasm for my job, but I also gained the respect and admiration of my colleagues.
Becoming a Professional Coach
These realizations and successes convinced me it was time to share these skills and strategies with others. In 2019, I decided to turn my experience into a profession and become a certified coach. I earned my certification at ICN Business School, learned Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and delved into transactional analysis. And that’s how Evoluxis was born. Today, I help those who want to shine in their professional endeavors, using my experience as a guide—kind of like a determined shepherd, but always smiling.

Because the professional world can feel like an endless battlefield where many get lost or struggle to land that dream job, or worse—any job at all. With my tools and know-how accumulated over the years, I want to make a real difference for you through Evoluxis. This is where progress equals success, and every challenge is an opportunity to push yourself further. And the name? Evoluxis means evolving toward the light, with a cheeky nod to Luxembourg, my current home.
