About Evoluxis
Evoluxis decodes what’s really going on inside organisations.
Beyond the processes and the neatly polished minutes. What’s happening behind them: the power plays, the things left unsaid, the alliances that appear on no org chart.
A career built inside corporate governance
Since 1999, I’ve been watching.
From hushed boardrooms to the far livelier backstage of company life. I’ve watched ambitions rise, successes land, failures unfold — and the occasional intrigue worthy of a good novel. From family-owned SMEs to a Big Four firm, through industry and philanthropy — different terrains, and governance, as it turns out, spares none of them.

French-Colombian, I cut my teeth in Paris until 2016, before packing up for Luxembourg. From here, I now watch what’s unfolding across Europe, with that slight offset you keep for life when you’ve grown up between two cultures — and just as much curiosity, laced with warmth, for what’s happening back in my native Colombia.
Along the way, I’ve also picked up a few certifications — proof of the ground covered on this journey:
- Certified in Business Practice, Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA, London) — 2007
- Certified Professional Coach, ICN Business School — 2019
- Certified Corporate Governance Officer, ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs) — July 2026
In between, I’ve worn plenty of hats: executive assistant, accountant, project manager. All stepping stones toward the role that fit naturally — Company Secretary, then Corporate Governance Officer.
Why governance never quite reads the same on paper
And I eventually understood why governance suits me so well.
Because it’s never just a matter of texts and processes committed to paper. In a boardroom, paper only ever tells half the story. On paper, admittedly, everything looks clean: it frames power, guarantees transparency, protects directors, shareholders, regulators — and, more broadly, all of us. Except the mechanics always run into the same reality: a complex business world, an economic and political climate that’s no less complex, and humans who are no exception.
And it’s precisely that gap that sharpens my eye: decoding the mechanisms and patterns to understand what’s really at play — and being able to anticipate, defuse, and negotiate the best possible outcome to conflicts and friction.
My method: governance and coaching
To do that, I draw on two reservoirs: my experience as a governance officer, and my experience as a coach, grounded in transactional analysis and solution-oriented approach (SFBT). Governance gives me the structure. Coaching helps me understand the behaviours that bring it to life — or send it off the rails.
On this blog, I share my thinking — with a little help from my trusty sidekicks Claude and ChatGPT, invaluable for research, sharpening the style of my articles, and, occasionally, debugging my website.

And the name Evoluxis? A little wink: to evolve, from Luxembourg, toward the lux — the light on everything the texts never quite say.
